Prince’s Purple Rain Outfit For A Fancy Dress Party- Female Looking For Purple Velvet Jacket, Ruffled Shirt..
hi everyone! I would really appreciate some help with this. I’ve been invited to a fancy dress party- pop stars being the theme. So I decided I’d make an effort and go as Prince. I have in mind the purple rain outfit and would love to make it that bit more original and avoid costume shops, and with the hundreds of second hand/ vintage shops around I have my work cut out for me. So could anyone suggest shops in dublin/ galway/ kilkenny/ carlow in which they have seen supplying purple velvet jackets and a white shirt with the big ruffles/cuffs/ collar please?? I think I can manage finding a wig etc. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Austin Powers wore a purple suite & white ruffle shirt so you could have a look in the fancy dress shops.
Other than that, I’d say E-Bay too.
