I’ve never heard this song but I’ve been looking for their song, “If It’s Games You’re Playing” or it could just be called “Games.” It came out in 88, I think. I used to watch the video on Soul Beat. I wish I could find it.

I bought this album when it came out and was shocked at how terrible it was. Andre must have been smoking dust when he made this

  15. Superbizzee says:

Sbrown421, you’re thinking of the group The Gyrlz. Totally different group. The Gyrlz were signed to Andre Harrell’s Uptown Records via Capitol. They broke up after that 1988 album. Two of the members regrouped on Epic Records a few years later as Terri & Monica. The third member Tara ended up managing them. Terri wrote a lot of songs back in the 90s for artists like Mary J. Blige, Total, and Soul For Real.

This song would be great for a romantic film scene. Very good mood music. When did this song and group come out ? I haven’t heard of this group before.
