I need help when I was about 15 or 16 or around 1984 I had a CD from one of Prince’s prodigy’s and I thought the guy was BrownMark but I’m not sure. All I know is the main chorus goes “Don’t trust your love to a stranger and don’t put your reputation in danger because I know what you like”
This song it’s so good, in the movie the crowd connected so much with him.

Drummer you are MAD early… at least twice at the end there Dez aint give NO kinda signal but drummer decided he wanted to end the song. I’m MAD at him, and them overalls! LOL! Great song tho, nice to hear it brings back so many memories.
@theluminescentone – Michael Bland is a fantastic drummer (and one of the hardest to pound the drums behind Prince). He was the musical director for the show, and I noticed that he was playing on top of a drum machine and triggering sounds, which is hard to do in a dynamic situation like that. They did mess up though, but Bland is a beast.
Has Dez stopped making music? I know he produces. But has he done anything for himself at all lately?
I like how dez looks at the moniter person and ups thumb…vocal, turn it up! Guess you have to a musician to catch that.
I love this song…….It should have been longer in the movie.
