I recorded this off the radio when I started high school back in ’82!
i’m looking 4 that album 4 years and years…i own the other two, and i always wondered, what this one sounds like..well, i think it’s cool, i still keep trying 2 get my hands on one…

Mr. Soulman, you must be my long lost twin cause you and I had the same taste my brother. I had all of Andres’ stuff and it was fire. Matter of fact, i’m good friends with Jerome Benton of the time as we were running buddies in L.A.

Sick bass line.
1982 was the shit, great memories, jheri curls and nappy dugouts. I liked this album better than 1999.
He’s why i pick up the bass guitar, and named my son Andre.

Almost too funky!
It’s a shame that Andre got better known for producing artists like Jody Watley and backing up Prince than being known as a recording artist. He definitely had the it factor and he was just overshadowed and ignored basically.
